Medicine Springs

The K Bar L Ranch is blessed with natural geothermal springs that bubble out of a hillside on the property. These waters feed a swimming pool that has soothed and delighted guests for many years. Long before the Ranch built the pool, the natural springs were used by Indians, hunters, trappers, loggers and other folks seeking the healing and relaxing properties of the springs.

At a constant temperature of 84F, the water is enjoyable year round. The humidity and warmth arising from the springs create a little micro-climate that attracts fireflies during the warm summer months, lending even more mystique to the wonders of nature in this wilderness setting.
